We begin by understanding how your hair behaves, where it loses definition
and what makes it feel difficult to manage. Your personalised service may
include curl-by-curl shaping, dry cutting, cleansing, hydration, treatment
and considered styling guidance.
The aim is not to force your hair into a particular curl pattern. It is to
support the texture you naturally have so it feels healthier, more defined
and easier to understand and care for.

Modern Perms
Movement created especially for your hair.
Modern perming can create anything from soft body and natural-looking
movement to waves or more defined curls.
Your curl pattern, rod placement and processing are planned around your
hair's length, density, condition and previous chemical history. The aim is
believable movement that complements your haircut and feels natural to you.

QIQI Texture & Frizz Support
For less frizz, easier styling and more manageable texture.
QIQI is a smoothing service rather than a curl-creating treatment.
It may be considered when naturally curly or textured hair feels
excessively frizzy, swollen, dry or difficult to manage. Your treatment can
be adapted depending on whether you would like to retain movement, gently
elongate the curl or achieve a smoother finish.

Spot Perming
Restore movement exactly where it is needed.
Spot perming focuses on carefully selected areas rather than perming the
entire head.
It may help restore movement around the crown, support areas where curl has
dropped or create better balance between different textures. It will only be
recommended where your existing curl pattern and the condition of your hair
make it suitable.

I will examine your texture, condition, density and existing movement.
Where necessary, I may recommend strand or compatibility testing before
confirming a chemical service.
You are welcome to bring photographs of styles or curl patterns you love.
These help me understand the feeling you would like to achieve while allowing
us to adapt the idea realistically for your own hair.
